In 2005, Dr. Brandon and his staff celebrated a very special anniversary.  We are proud to say that for 30 years, Dr. Brandon has provided nurturing dental care to the families of Brecksville and its surrounding areas.  Our expansion into a larger office space in 2003, has afforded new growth of the practice, while allowing us to maintain the same level of personal attention that our patients have always enjoyed.

When asked about his practice’s upcoming 30th anniversary, Dr. Brandon said “It doesn’t feel like it has been 30 years because it has been so satisfying to serve all the patients who entrust us with their health, and reward us with their friendship.” 

Dr. Brandon began his career in 1972, by earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio.  As a senior, he was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honorary Society, an organization open only to those in at least the top 12% of the graduating class, and who, in addition to scholarship, have demonstrated exemplary traits of character and potential qualities of future growth and attainments.   

From 1972 to 1974, Dr. Brandon performed a rotating Dental Internship at the Cleveland VA Medical Center.  He opened his own general dentistry practice in Brecksville, Ohio in 1975.

In 1978, Dr. Brandon became a Fellow with the American Endodontic Society, an organization established to provide higher recognition for the clinical accomplishments of its members.  In 1997, Dr. Brandon earned his Mastership with the American Endodontic Society, after presenting detailed cases demonstrating endodontic technique. 

For what will soon be thirty years, Dr. Brandon has been an active member of the Greater Cleveland Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association and the American Dental Association.  These are all organizations, at the local, state and national levels, committed to the public’s oral health, ethics, science and professional advancement.  He has been an active participant in two different study groups, the Ohio Academy of Interdisciplinary Dento-facial Therapy, and the Cleveland Study Club. The agenda of these organizations include case presentations, literature review, clinical pearls and lectures from experts in the field of dentistry. In addition, Dr. Brandon routinely averages more than twice the required continuing education classes required by the Ohio State Dental Board for license renewal every two years.

While Dr. Brandon is pleased with his professional accomplishments, you will always find him to be quite modest, as he attributes much of his success to his family’s support and the superior efforts of his staff.  Perhaps that is the reason so many people have remained loyal to his practice throughout the past thirty years.
